and we offer immediate payment discounts (checks, credit cards) and
an additional 5% for cash payments. Patients under 18 qualify for our
lowest fees but not a cash discount.

Payment
Methods
Our
fee schedule is based on an immediate payment discount for payment by
check, major credit card and money order. Patients over 18 paying by
cash receive an additional 5% discount. Most insurance is accepted but
please call for verification.
We provide a special fee for patients under 18 but no additional cash
discount.
All prices below are based on check or credit card payment.
Cash payments will be 5% lower.
Annual/Preventive
Gynecological Exams
Routine annual or preventive exams include: PAP smear, breast
exam, blood pressure check, height/weight, thyroid and abdominal palp,
heart and lung check.
Adults: $89
Under 18: $60
Additional test extra. Thin Preps are available for only $37, including
typing for positive preps.

For patients with a specific gyn problem:

Services for Men
We provide our male patients with birth control information and supplies,
as well as diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections.
Referrals for vasectomies are available.

Services
Hormone replacement therapy and education is available to our mid-life

menopausal patients.

Our patients are provided with the full array of contraceptive

After a comprehensive physical and counseling, the best method of birth

ESSURE
Finally, women and their
partners considering permanent birth control have a new option. It's
called Essure. Unlike tubal ligation and vasectomy,
there are no incisions or punctures to the body. Essure takes about
35 minutes in an office setting, does not require general anesthesia,
and
provides birth control without hormones. Best of all, you should be
on your way about 45 minutes after the procedure.

Sexually
active and too shy to have your first pelvic exam but you want
contraceptives to avoid an unwanted pregnancy?
We offer contraceptive coverage without a pelvic until you're ready
to
have one. It'll give you some time to get used to the idea and still
get
the protection. You still need a visit to ensure which method is right
for
you. Call the center nearest you for HOPE!

EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION
Unprotected
sex? Emergency Contraception can reduce you chance of an
unintended pregnancy for up to 5 days after the occurrence. EC is most
effective within the first 24 hours but gives significant protection
for
up to 120 hours (i.e., 5 days). EC is a walk in service. No appointment
needed.

EC to Go - Plan for
the Unexpected
Plan for the unexpected - purchase Plan B as part of your clinic
visit so
you'll have it available "in case". Ask for "EC To Go"
for some future

Prenatal Program
PPSEV has provided comprehensive and affordable prenatal care
to women
since 1996. Our program is limited to our Norfolk and Virginia Beach
health centers. The Program consists of prenatal care, nutritional
services, health education, and referrals to classes, including Lamaze,
newborn care and safety. Delivery is by board certified OB physicians.

We provide detection and treatment of cervical cancer and related
